Black jeans have a connotation for us, and one that we love - they are a little punk, a little metal. They call for worn-out knees and frayed hems, ratty band tees and All-Stars. Whether it be Zeppelin, Sabbath or 90’s Grunge, there is so much inspiration to be taken from the attitude of the alternative.
Our 933s are just that - based on our classic 133 denims, the leg has been tapered from the knee down to make it comfortably slim. Produced in Okayama from our original black selvedge black denim, the 933s shine when worn just a little tight, with hems left unfinished and a little short. A little metal, just like us.
How you interpret them is all you - with a Rollneck and penny loafers they can be all 50’s coffee house, or with sharp tailoring they will balance a jacket and look at home.
But if you ask us, we like metal.
